One of our favorite things to do when we travel is eat local cuisine. When we planned a trip to Lima, Peru, we knew this city would be focused around food (since Lima is known as the food capital of South America). We booked a food tour with Exquisito Peru (ultimate Barranco food tour) and it couldn’t have been a better, and tastier, experience.

Where to Stay in Lima
Lima, Peru is a city not to be missed. Many will visit either before or after Cuzco (since Lima is the city most international travelers fly in and out of when visiting Peru). We came straight from Cuzco and I was incredibly sick from the altitude. What I needed in Lima was relaxation and rejuvenation. We stayed at Casa Andina Premium in Miraflores and it was exactly what we needed.
